Course Description

Evidence suggests that certain foods can affect your mood. This workshop gets you looking at healthy eating for improved mental health with an emphasis on low mood and anxiety.

This course is aimed at:

Anyone who experiences low mood and is interested in learning about how nutrition maybe able to support their wellbeing.

Course structure

One-off workshop.

Learning Outcomes

Students will:
• Identify food and drinks that support and hinder wellbeing
• Recognise how to create balanced meals to support your mood
• Explain the connection between what you eat and how you feel
• Describe three strategies for managing mood with food
