Course Description
This in person course is designed to help understand the way anxiety affects us physically and how it also impacts on our thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
The sessions will look at ways of challenging negative thoughts, exploring ways of working with anxiety behaviour. It will also includesome simple relaxation techniques and explore the role of creativity.
This course is aimed at:
Anyone wanting to develop greater understanding of anxiety and wishing to develop more effective coping strategies
Course structure
Weekly sessions for up to 5 weeks (In person).
Learning Outcomes
Students will:Gain an understanding of the way anxiety affects us.
Learn how to challenge negative thoughts and cope with panic attacks.
Develop a personal wellbeing ‘toolkit’ to help manage anxiety.
