Course Description
In this course we discover what OCD is and how it’s experienced. Together we will learn about the causes, signs and symptoms of OCD as well as what keeps it going. We’ll explore evidence-based tools and practical coping strategies to manage OCD and reduce its impact on daily life. We’ll gain valuable insights and connect with others who share our experiences as well as find out about different support and treatment options available.
This course is aimed at:
Anyone living with OCD. Supporters and carers are also welcome to apply.
Course structure
Weekly sessions for up to 4 weeks.
Learning Outcomes
Students will:Explain the difference between obsessions and compulsions
Recognise the different factors that maintain OCD
Use tools to manage intrusive thoughts and challenge compulsive behaviours
